The food is delicious and price reasonable and the service was great. I wish they had one in my area I would go more often. I highly recommend this place....you must try it at least once. Their churasco is very delicious and the gallo pinto is delicious!
bad service without a smile.. I have tried to give this place a chance but get worse every time I go. The food is ok , its just the service that is horible. If you go don't have high expectations for service you won't be disapointed.
Cheese sticks with no cheese, terrible service. My party ordered two plates of mozzarella sticks. Not one of the sticks actually had cheese in them. When we brought this to the attention of our waiter, he laughed at us. The manager told us, preemptively, that we had to pay for them before we could even complain. I will never go back to Los Ranchos, and unless you're looking for mediocre shopping mall steak, stay away
Great food, bad service.. The food is great, always consistent. The problem was the waitress that took care of us. She was very rude, amking us feel like we were in a fast food reataurant/cafeteria. She was not very interested in making sure we were satisfied with our food.
Best Happy Hour.
All I have to say is 1/2 off on all drinks and appetizers Monday thru Friday 3PM-7PM at their bar.
You can't beat that any where. Ask for Leo excellent service.
Big steaks and even bigger side dishes are the staples at this classy Nicaraguan institution..
In Short
Crack open the gaucho-styled menu and dig into the selection of Latin American steaks and hearty appetizers. The signature cut is the churrasco, a tenderloin topped with chimichurri, a garnished olive oil-based sauce. An attentive staff is always quick to fill your plate with crispy, buttered bread slices as well as saddling your entree with fried plantains, banana chips and red beans and rice. Weekends get lively with ethnic musical performances.
Greatest meat restaurant. Los Ranchos in the Falls is one of the best places to eat. Their service is great all the time. If you like meat I would recommend The Baby churrasco and if you want it bigger get the normal size. Deserts are excellent especially the cheesecake. The price was reasonable and worth it.
Disappointing. We had an early dinner at Los Ranchos and it was a most diappointing experience. Although our waiter was pleasant enough, the dishes were placed on the table by two other servers who did not acknowledge us at all. A third server nearly knocked me out of my chair from behind while putting a high chair at another table. She didn't seem to notice though I received 3 good bumps and even turned around to look. Our food was lukewarm and very average. A gratuity was added for the two of us which seemed peculiar and a first time event for us though we dine out often. We won't be returning.
aphalling service. when i first arrived, the waiter complained in spanish(thinking i didnt understand) about having to serve us. Servers were very cold, and once our food was served, no one asked us how everything was until about 10 minutes after we had finished. I ate my food thirsty because i could not locate a waiter to serve me more water. There was barely any customers in the restaurant! They had no reason to give such poor service, and to top it off they had the nerve to include the tip, and we were only a party of 2! i will never return there again.
