We did not have any luck with this vet. We took our Rottweiler to Derks for 1 1/2 years; he had tons of health problems since the day he was born. The office staff are very nice, but after all this time and spending over $1000 in treatment our dog never improved under their vet's care. We switched to another vet in Miami and had immediate success - within 48 hours - our dog was a new dog. They tried various treatments here, but none of them worked and I find it extraodinary that when we took our dog to another vet he was cured immediately. Why didn't this practise take the same simple steps to cure our poor dog? They even told us to think about having him put to sleep because they couldn't find a way to cure him. Now he is a vital, healthy, well and active Rottweiler - cured of all his problems. I'm not saying don't go here, but they certainly were never able to solve our problems or help our dog.
