OK -- safe, cheap, bring your own pillow. I stayed here for an agility trial at Tropical Park. Price was my main concern and safety was the second. The motel did OK on both of those counts, it was pretty affordable given the location and the season.

The area was very safe, everyone was very nice. The room was reasonably clean. Be warned about the pillows...they are the size of bolster pillows and exceedingly uncomfortable. I don't understand why they wouldn't give customers a regular sized pillow.

Also I was travelling with a dog so maybe they gave me a crappy room? But it reeked of cigarettes. It was like sitting in an ashtray. I had a headache all the first night. It smelled horribly but I didn't check it before lugging all my stuff up the stairs. Check the room before you bring your stuff in.

Really, really smelled bad but it was safe and had hot water and by the second day with the AC running the whole time, the smell dissipated a tiny bit or i got used to it.

Nice and Easy!. When we stayed there the people at the front desk were very helpful. They went out of there way to find directions for us. The restarunt was nice and the rooms were very clean.
