Poor hygiene, non-English speaking.
Santi's not only does hair but also nails. I recently went in for a manicure and noticed immediately that the tools used by the workers were never sanitized. Manicure tools were kept in dry containers and never sterilized between customers, which INCREASES THE RATE OF PASSING FUNGAL AND BACTERIAL INFECTIONS from customer to customer.
Moreover, the workers there barely spoke English and I had difficulty conveying that I needed a French manicure only.
