Best Surgeon. I found him on Citysearch and I was hesitant about going, because I've been putting off surgery for a while now. I didn't think it was safe until I met Dr. Viamonte. He went through the procedure with me, giving me different options. It took one day off for this, and now I am better than ever. I would be very careful when choosing a surgeon in Miami. Dr Viamonte is very close and personal with his patients and going to him is not like going to a doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Viamonte
The best. I met with Dr. Viamonte for the first time yesterday. I made a scheduling mistake and missed the appointment we had in the morning. When I called they were very accomodating and rescheduled me for later in the afternoon. When I arrived, I filled out my paperwork and Dr. Viamonte saw me immediately - no waiting. Although we discovered some bad news with me. Dr. Viamonte made me feel comfortable and put me at ease. He made an apointment for me with with another specialist so I could have it fixed the next morning and everything has gone smotothly so far. I was most impressed with how he explained everything in detail during the examination; at one point he pulled out his PC and used an animated presentation to clearly explain everything.
Best Dr. in Miami. I had a hernia that had recurred twice after two previous repair attempts by one surgeon. For my third try, I saw Dr.Viamonte , who came highly recommended. His pleasant demeanor and professionalism were striking. That in combination with the other recommendations that I had been given on his behalf convinced me that he was the doctor for my third attempt at fixing this annoying and painful problem. He did the operation laparoscopically even though it had been done open the second time and I am in tip-top shape almost one year later. My recovery process was much easier that either of my two previous operations and Dr. Viamonte was easily available whenever I had any questions. You hope not to need a surgeon, but when I or any of my friends and family do, we will see or ask for Dr Viamonte
Best doctor in Miami!.
Dr. Viamonte performed a PPH on me a week ago today. Everything he said would happen did. The procedure was performed in 20 minutes and my recuperation seems to be even quicker!
Today I jogged for 3 miles and lifted free weights.
I would encourage anyone with "piles" to have it taken care of as soon as possible -- you will feel 10 years younger!
Dr. Viamonte tends to abandon their patients after performing surgery!.

For lack of words I will have to say that I feel appalled, surprised and disappointed by the manner in which my mother was abandoned by you and your partners. On September 27, 2006 she underwent a bowel resection surgery to stop a gastrointestinal bleeding probably caused by the rupture of some diverticuli. On October 4th, 2006, I noticed that the incision was getting red on the edges and I advised the nurse of it. Then the 5th of October the erythema had increased and expanded even more, once again I informed the nurse of it, and I proceeded to call your office and left a message with your secretary to please call me. I never received a call from you or your partners. Then the next day, the 6th of October, I could see that the infection had traveled even further. I called your service 2 times to please call me; the nurse Aileen Gonzalez called your office 3 times to no avail. . Finally the nurse had to request her Nurse Supervisor to contact anyone on your practice because no one had the courtesy or interest to return the call. When the nurse ultimately received a call from one of your partners, Dr. Plasencia, it was almost 9:00pm, and his response was that he will pass by in the morning to see her. The next morning he removed the staples, placed a wet to dry dressing and left. I asked the nurse when was the last time you or one of your partner had seen my mother, and she said that by the progress notes it was on October 2nd, which means that since that day to October 7th when the staples were removed no one had come to see her surgery. My mother has been in the hospital already for 2 weeks and no one has informed me of her health status, or why she is still in the hospital. Last night I spoke with Dr. Plasencia, and asked him to do a KUB because my mother complaints of a horrible pain that hasnt subsided since the day of the surgery, finally, he agreed to it.
