The new store on 87th is great. Beautiful displays and variety of animals. It is very clean and smelling nice every time I visit. The owner is usually in after 3 and if you have specific questions, its better that you go in the afternoon.

They have a bad mite infestation. I bought a pre-killed mouse from here, froze it, and thawed it for my snake. When I dropped the mouse into my snake's tank, approximately 10 million mites came swarming out of its fur onto my snake. My snake now has a mite infestation in its eyes and tank. Thanks to Snakes at Sunset I'm now facing an extremely expensive and time-consuming cleanup for this infestation. Do not recommend.

NICE ANIMALS , BUT STORE WAS A MESS.. STORE WAS A MESS AND NOT CLEAN WHEN I VISITED, THE OWNER WAS NOT THERE, SO SOMEONE ON THE PAYROLL IS SLACKING. I AM NOT A KID JUST FOR INFO, JUST A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER. IF I COULD POST PICTURES I WOULD AND THAT YOU CANT DISPUTE. I AM NOT SAYING THE ANIMALS ARE NOT NICE OR TAKEN CARE OF BUT THE STORE WAS A MESS....

Amazing!. Abosutely amazing shop! Don't have any idea what they heck these kids down below are saying.....Buncha 10 year olds.....I've bought multiple items from them and they are very nice, friendly, and know you! They are the best! Trust me, go into the shop, it's amazing, healthy, everything, in every way! Take my word and atleast go for a visit. Don't listen to these kids down here....They're probably thinking about some different shop......Because these guys are the best and are friendly and have a great, healthy selection. Take my word, go!

nice variety and quick servie. After a few visits, the staff know who you are and what you need. It helps, as there seems to be a fair amount of tire kickers that come into the store just to see the interesting wares for sale.

The prices are fair and the staff puts up with a lot of questions; good, bad and indifferent with intelligent answers.

Just a plain bad petshop. Dont waste your time.. The only positive thing about this place is the variety of animals. The people at snakes at sunset aren't very helpful if not, a little rude. While I was trying to ask them questions they were staring at football the entire time and were very vague with their answers, as if I was supposed to know. The older guy was rude when I asked him how much the turtles were and the tanks for the day geckos were DISGUSTING, filled with feces everywhere, along with several tanks that needed to be cleaned which they had time to considering they were watching football. I don't recommend this place to anyone (I went there 3 times thinking maybe they had a bad day and I still got bad service) and don't waste your money on accessories. They are costly.

They only care about money and don't give refunds whatsoever. Ive seen plenty of people who, yes, they bought very pretty snakes, would return them because the snakes were sick. They wouldn't get refunded and when one of them left, the sales guy turned to his friend and snickered that they always return the snakes and they get to keep the money. Right in front of us! They have no shame. These people should be fired or snakes needs to shut down because this is just a bad experience all in one package. What a ridiculous pet shop. Don't waste your time.

Good shop. This place is without a doubt, the best reptile shop in Miami. Good selection. Educated staff. Friendly people. I wouldn't go to any other place. Would be a waste of time.
