Editorial Review for Dade County Youth Fair – by Rick Munarriz

In Short
After 57 years, the former Dade County Youth Fair keeps the turnstiles going. Roughly 700,000 guests will attend during the 18-day run. The midway is loaded with a hundred carnival rides, complete with looping coasters, scenic skyways, and a lively kid section. Food stands offer everything from roasted cob corn to funnel cakes. Shows feature everything from circus performances to pig races, while exhibit halls house award-winning student entries in various categories from area schools.

Okay, Don't get me wrong, but I was going to go recently with my Girlfriend, but I felt the only reason it sounded appealing is because It was cool and fun as a child. Like Santa's Enchanted Forest, Its most Likely going to be 40 Minute walk around and around. But for the Jitterbugs.. they are going to flip-out into a "i wanna go here, i wanna go there" machine.. I'm not saying to stay home or go somewhere else, I'm just dropping my opinion. I think they have some beer tents or something, but to be on the safe side call and ask first... if they have a number. and if its for the rides.. I go for the tilt-a-whirl.. I love that thing. (when i was a tad bit younger)

Pros: Rides Ride and Rides!!! for 20 Bucks.

Cons: Make your own.. there really isn't one, Its the fair.
