Exceptional Service. I recently bought a puppy for my wife for Christmas, but to find out not long after, that the puppy had not recieved her Vacinations as we were thought to believe by the owner. My puppy became sick and after visiting our usual vet, they refered us to Dr. Gamora.

I truly have to say that the Dr, and his staff are impressive and with incredible moral and support. They were so sympathetic to us and in dealing with a very sick puppy with Distemper. My wife and I cannot say enough about how incredible these people are at the clinic, and we are so blessed to have found a vet who cares. Great Job All of you. Thank you so Much.

Best VET!. Dr. Gomara has been our family vet for many years. He truly cares about the animals?very dedicated. I have 3 dogs, one of which is already 12 years old. In the past few years she has been through some tuff ailments. At one overnight emergency room visit they wanted to put her down. I waited and took her to Dr. Gomara the next morning and he diagnosed, treated and saved her. It?s been over a year now since that incident and she is still doing great. He is truly a wonderful vet!

Cheap but watch out!. My mother's chihuahua was treated by Dr. Gomara for a case of gastritis and instead of giving us an option of him keeping him overnight with IV fluids and meds because he was throwing up, he injected fluids into his back which literally looked like he was carrying a backpack or was a hunchback and told us that would keep him hydrated for a while. The dog took a turn for the worse that evening and had a seizure on the way to the veterinary ER. Once at the ER, they couldn't do anything else because he was essentially brain dead from the seizure. Keep in mind that this chihuahua had been purchased at the pet store next to Dr. Gomara's vet office which he co-owns. Our family had always taken our poodle to him before and she never had any major illnesses. However, if your pet has any complication or you need to consult for something other than routine shots, I would caution you that in an effort to keep client's costs down, he cuts corners. That may be fine for some, but the client should be given the choice of whether they want to spend more to have the appropriate medical treatment since this is a relationship of trust with the vet.

Great Vet in Miami. Dr. Gomara is one of the best vets in the Miami area. People from far away bring their dogs to him. He has a gentle touch with an uncanny knowledge of his trade. He was recommended to me by my father who lives very far and still comes to Bird Rd to have his two dogs checked and vaccinated. I have 4 dogs and have always received the best service from the staff: both the several veterinarians to-be and the sweet and efficient clerical staff. You do need appointments but you won't be disappointed. Dr. Gomara always find the causes of all my dogs' ailments and he is very reasonable in his charges. Who could ask for more?

Wonderful secret in SW Miami. This neighborhood veterinarian is a great find for anyone who cares about his/her pets. A dedicated professional who is point blank in his diagnosis and evidently cares about animals. Young and personable, he will be around for a long time. So you don't have to worry about retirement. My miniature schnauzer went in with an attack of pancreatis and he saved him. He also saved me money by patiently explaining what I had to do at home so it wouldn't cost me $300 a night at an emergency animal hospital. Has a great sense of humor and his prices are low too. I shopped around since I have 4 dogs. He doesn't open Mondays but everything else is great. He also has a store next door but I haven't had time to visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
