Home Style Cooking.
This is a great local place for breakfast,lunch or dinner. Varied menu and daily specials abound.
Fast, pleasant staff provide a real hometown feel.
Food consistently good. Grouper is good to,
"Damn I want more of this" melts in your mouth excellent!!
In a perfect world, they would offer Ham Croquettes. (Croquetas de Jamon) with Cuban bread and Cafe con Leche. (hint,hint)

Great Family Dining. So many family restaurants are falling by the wayside with this tough economy, but it's wonderful to know that Jimmy's Place is still here and still providing diners with the same family friendly menu that they've always served. We've been visiting Jimmy's for over 30 years and want to let everyone know that it's not just the great food that keeps bringing us back. It's the warm and friendly people, too. Miami is a big City and it's nice to walk into a place and feel like you're back in the Miami you grew up in. Delicious breakfasts, one of the best Cuban sandwiches in town, and lunch and dinner specials that will please even the pickiest of eaters. Coffee is always hot and the desserts are worth saving room for! (Although we usually end up taking ours home because we just don't have any room left!) Can't say anything but good things about Jimmy's Place. Try it anytime - breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Food is lousy. The food here is about the level of a school cafeteria, canned vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, flourescent lighting and a nasty owner. I wouldn't even feed this food to my dog.
