An authentic Thai restaurant with a large and comprehensive menu is tough to find in Miami. Thankfully there is Thai House South Beach and its sibling, Thai House II, in North Miami Beach. Decor here is standard Thai restaurant.
The Food
The South Beach location offers a whole page of tofu options for vegetarians (if you ask) including massaman tofu with sweet potato, snow peas, and pineapple in a curry-based sauce, as well as stir-fried tofu with broccoli and onions. The pad Thai at the North Beach location is nearly perfect, with a hint of potent fish sauce and just a tinge of sweetness. The shrimp are few and small, but they are fresh.

I order from this place a few time. My college is only a few minutes away and the same drivers never can find it again. I bought the crab and the feces is there for you to bite it. Then when you get you mouth full of yellow stuff, it a turn off. Then through they spring rolls I can taste there oil needed changing. I was able to taste other flavors that are not usually there. I never get my food hot just warmed as if it sat for a long time. I LIVE LESS THAN 5 MIN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand it. There tempura is very horrible but it was my first time eating it. I won't touch anything tempura again. There scallop katsu taste likes it coated in some spoiled liquid. I do enjoy the spring rolls but when I try to give them chances to change my mind of them. The service and product is mostly poor. Also the delivery man let the food on the trunk for me to get it as he made to drive away. That is after i gave him a generous tip.

The place has nice atmosphere but lacks the cooking. Either that or no one in Aventure has good taste.

Thai House 2 has a varied menu, with something to please anyone. The food is consistiently good. My husband loves the curry chicken. It is rich! Seating is prompt, and the staff have always been very nice. Take out is prompt as well. Sometimes service can be slow, but it does get busy at nights and sometimes seems understaffed. The wait is worth it. We eat out here any time we crave Thai food.

Try Thai Fries:
As a side, try Thai House II's fries, strips of boniato (a sweet potato-like root) dunked in coconut pulp and quickly fried.
How's the service?:
Pleasant enough, though usually slow.
