Great Day on the Course

A friend of mine is a member and invited me to play a round a golf with him and a few of his buddies. Since Deering Bay is a private club, I jumped at the chance to experience a new course. The course is an Arnold Palmer Signature Course and was pretty tough, but we did get to see an American crocodile sunning itself, which was definitely a sight to see. Afterwards, we had burgers and beers at the bar. The bar atmosphere was very classy, with a lot of wood fixtures and bottles on display. It was a great day and definitely made me think of joining sometime in the near future.

Toughest Course in South Florida w/ Excellent Scenery

Set alongside the shores of Biscayne Bay, just off historic Old Cutler Road, Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club is truly a secret to most South Floridians. They don't advertise (purposely), they ensure that there is never overcrowding and best of all, YOU DON"T HAVE TO LIVE THERE TO JOIN! Deering Bay's amenities are far superior to the other country clubs in the area and I urge anyone to check them out. When I played during the Gulliver Golf Classic in January, I was blown away at the facilities...I'm talking world-class. When I found out that Deering is almost half the cost of Riviera, I was sold!!! Plus they offer an exclusive membership to just 20 people for Summer Golf. Get on it!!!
