Worst Doctor Office EVER. I went there at the exact time of my appointment, signed in and waited for half an hour. I had to walk up to the rude receptionist and ask her for an estimate on the wait time. After she told me about an hour and a half, I tried to reschedule thinking that this was a busy day but she said that it is like that all the time. No thanks. Plenty of dermatologists around. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

It's unfortunate, really. I have been a loyal patient 15+ years or so. Yesterday, I had the worst possible service imaginable. I've noticed the slight decline in service, but yesterday was the final straw.

When I first arrived to the office, I was told by the girl at the front desk that I had to fill out the Referral form, as this was my 5th visit. I have never had to get a referral to see my dermatologist, so I looked at my card and in bold letters, it says "no referral needed". An assistant came up and they started arguing in front of me whether or not the form was needed or not. It was extremely unprofessional of the girl at the front desk to continue her fight, as the bold letters on the card should have been a given. Regardless, she went to the back to confirm, and sure enough, I did not need to fill out the form. She then tells me, "whatever, I put in my 2 week notice anyway".

I then get called in and am seen by the ARNP. Even though I have a spanish last name, I prefer to do my business in English. I was, afterall, born here and never once suggested to her to speak to me in spanish. She asks me where I have my rashes - to which I say everywhere (this is something I'm quite sure is in the charts - 15+ years, afterall). She gets defensive and tells me that this is the first time she's seen me, so she had to ask. Mind you, she is sitting across the room from me and doesn't get a good look for herself - I don't bite. Her cell phone goes off - and she answers it and fully takes the call with me there. She gets off the phone and continues to talk to me in Spanish again.

As I leave, another girl at the front desk just hands me a new appointment - without asking what day/time I'd be available. I'm glad they assume I'm going back again. Because now, after 15+ years, I realize that this place has been in a slow state of decline and it's not worth it for me to make the drive over to this office.

It's a shame, because I really did like the doctor once upon a time.

LAND OF THE RUDE!. I get to the office and the old lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude. I was NEVER told they did not accept checks and that was all I had on me and she didn't care. She snapped back with "if there are no funds on that check then I have to replace it out of my pocket", said in the nastiest way possible. If she only knew that check would NEVER bounce. Then about 10 min. later, that same woman gets into a fight with someone in the back and yells/screams (any other word related to that) to someone in the back and a HORRIBLE verbal fight began. Everyone in the waiting area could heard it & how unprofessional it was. I just felt REALLY uncomfortable with her there & by the looks on the employees faces they were embarassed just as well. On the bright side, I was able to see the P.A. who was VERY VERY pleasant. From now on I'll go early to avoid arguments only because he was very nice & sat & listened as long as you spoke. He didn't rush me which is what I liked, that he actually payed attention.

Bad first impression....... I called to make a first time appointment with this Dr. and was so turned off by the receptionist's ohone demeanor, that I will never contact this doctor again. It's a shame really, because the doctor herself may be wonderful! Alas, I'll never find out. The receptionist didn't let me finish a sentence, and before I could string 7 words together, abruptly asked if I was a "new patient". Straight on the heels of my replying "yes", she blurted out "We only take new patient calls from 9-10 AM". If this is any reflection on this office's bedside manner, I'll pass.
