Miami's best italian food. Small but cozy italian restaurant in Pinecrest. Delicious food and wonderful service. I will definitely return for more and recommend it to everyone I know.

Citysearch Editorial Review. Forgiving the strip mall exterior is as easy as drawn blinds that box in this whimsical Italian eatery with playful murals propped above wood-backed walls in an intimate dining room of tiled floors, wooden chairs, and white tablecloths. It's not Italia, but it's close enough for suburban Kendall. Local families and couples come for Northern Italian eats including spinach risotto, pork medallions in a mushroom wine sauce,and a salmon-topped penne in a vodka cream sauce. The 55-seat dining room is a Mediterranean escape, until someone opens the door and lets the metropolitan sights and sounds in.

A bit loud and congested.. Our experience at Trattoria Luna was mixed. Though the service and food were good, the restaurant is very noisy and the seating is quite crowded. We felt as though we were having dinner with the people at the next table. Also, it is quite expensive as the menu is ala carte for the most part. They have the best gnocci and panna cotte in Miami but we didn't quite get on board with the potatoes that accompany the entrees as they seemed not quite authentically Italian. The afterdinner homemade Limoncello was a nice touch and the owner is charming. We'd try it again but never on a weekend.

Good food, goofy service. Great location across from Dadeland in a strip mall with lots of parking. The food was good and in abundance. The server told me about the reservation history of the people I was meeting -- not really appropriate. It may have been because my guests were regulars, but the server was very casual and overly solicitous. They played "They say it's your birthday (Beatles)" for a birthday SO LOUDLY that we couldn't speak to each other -- and they played the whole d*mned song. Peculiar.
