Editorial Review for Hooligan's Pub & Oyster Bar – by Cadien Clark

In Short
With 41 TVs in three theaters, including five big screens, this spot is made for sports fans, but there are plenty of other options for drinking enthusiasts. With karaoke, pool tournaments and dancing by DJ, there are endless promotions and special events to keep patrons happy. Aside from the ever-popular wet T-shirt contest, another favorite is the bartender coin "flip"--where drinks are free for customers if the toss is called wrong.

They used to have wet T-shirt contests a while back (not sure if they still have it). Attracted the raunchiest crowd you could ever find. Flip night used to be the best part of this place, but now it's gone. They replaced it with 2 for 1 drinks daily, which makes up nicely for that, but there is no excuse for the awful food. The food is greasy and disgusting. I HAVE YET TO TRY THE OYSTERS. EVERY time I go there...."oh..we JUST ran out". Frankly, I didn't even want to bother trying them, but a friend said they were good. I have yet to find out and I have been there 6 times.

Pros: Cheap, Pay-per-View events for $5

Cons: Ambience, Quality, Parking

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

Great bar, pitchers are somewhat overpriced, but the atmosphere is great. Go on tuesdays 25 cent pitchers, can't beat that. Flip night is gone though. Never seen this supposed wet t-shirt contest either. The food is good and dirt cheap, so if your willing to pay for cheap, yet good food, then the beer prices aren't so bad. Great specials on drinks all summer though.

Pros: Atmosphere, Food Price, Hot bitches

Cons: Beer price
