Stay Away, used to be good but it died. I have been a regular customer for over 25 years, but since they opened a new location in Kendall without hiring new staff, their service is really bad! stay away from this place, really! I am so sorry to see a place disappear after 25 years, but I am never going back.
Great Sushi but Poor Service Left a Bad Taste in our Mouths. Praise the chefs, fire the wait staff. Waited and then requested that our drink orders be taken. Mojito drink "special" tasted like simple sugar and ice. Appetizers were tasty and enjoyed after we grabbed silverware and napkins from the next table. Several minutes passed before waiter returned to take dinner order. One of the main entrees was brought to the table as we took our last bites of our meal. No apologies from wait staff for poor service. Asked for check twice before it was brought to us. Wish we could have tipped the sushi chef!!! Maybe we should just sit at the sushi bar next time and forget the wait staff. And the waitress charged our credit card twice; spent the next two days trying to locate the manager of the restaurant to correct error. Manager and staff nonchalant about incident. Great sushi but poor poor service left a bad taste in my mouth. We visit Miami often but this was the worst service experience ever!
Excellent service. We enjoy dining at Sea Siam at least once a month. Though the place is quite large and always very busy, the service is excellent. It is obviously family owned and operates like a well-oiled machine. The menu is huge so there is something for everyone. We've always found the food to be fresh and free of MSG. Our only complaint is that the booths could be a bit more comfortable as the seats are too far back from the table for the average sized person. Parking is quite adequate.
