My cousin had just had her 15 x 4 birthday party and I would like to comment the owner or her workers stole from a mailbox. The owner puts a box for people to put gifts envelopes, and at the end of the party she gave a big bag to put the gifts away, but she did not mentioned about the mail box envelopes with money and gift certificate, (she knew that the box had envelopes and did not mentioned to anyone) SO she kept them all. Bad Experience..
WORST BANQUET HALL IN MIAMI.
This place is just flat out disgusting!! The service is terrible!!! I rated it "EH" because there is no TERRIBLE!
We had a fifteens here and nobody was served their food until 11:00PM!! The Party started at 7:00PM and ended at 12:00PM. This is probably the cheapest place but its not worth the embarrassment of taking your family and friends to this disgrace of a place. I was extremely disrespected by the manager as she is the rudest business owner I have ever met. She also has these cuban workers that have no clue what in the world they are doing and are extremely rude and nasty as well. The bartender in this place has no idea what he is doing either. He mixes drinks absolutely wrong and all of their liquor is the cheapest even if you ask for the best. All I had was a Vodka Tonic and aside from it being terrible, I got the biggest migraine after drinking it. (CHEAP ALCOHOL) I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE! If you can not afford a better place just do the event at your home as this place will leave you very upset and although it is cheap, it is STILL a waste of money!
Not a Good Experience. The costs are cheap, however, that's exactly what you're going to get. The manager was VERY RUDE, and had a bad attitude. She was not cooperative at all. We had our guests waiting outside for a while before she could let them in. At the end of the party, she basically kicked us out. The staff was picking up the tables before anyone had left, including party favors. It is a shame that the manager is so rude seeing how the place is actually nice, with a good location. I would not recommend this place to have your party.
on the contrary, I LOVE this place!. I've had 6 parties at Synai Garden in the last 5 years and can not say one single bad thing. In regards to payments, I PERSONALLY have paid with credit cards and checks, the only time it is not accepted is at the FINAL payment. For OBVIOUS reasons. As far as food goes, we've had everything from yellow rice and chicken to steak and potatoes. Not once have we, or any member of my group ever had a complain about the quality or quantity. The servers and service has always been 100% outstanding. In fact, whenever a issue had come up, the Owner was notified and addressed the problem with speed and efficiency. The Open Bar and the bartenders have always been very attentative. In fact, PIña Coladas and Rum and Cokes are always the most requested at our family gatherings and the only beverage we always ask to make sure they have plenty of. They might not be the strongest, but in the end, we all have to drive home. As far as the party favors and decorations, we've never had a complaint. In fact, the flower lady had us come to her house and personalize every detail. We have no complaints about this Hall and felt obligated to post a comment on how well we were treated and will recomend this to ANYONE, Family or friend.
Synai Gardens Will Traumatize Your Guests.
Let's start off with the food. We were invited to a party, my friend's bridal. We didn't get any appetizers for our table. At first, I thought it was just taking too long for them to bring it over; so I had to satisfy my growing hunger by drinking pina coladas, not enough alcohol, and not a bit frosty, a disgrace to pina coladas everywhere. As I walked around the very little salon, I noticed that almost every other table had appetizers, except us and a few others. There weren't enough appetizers!
After much waiting, we finally got our dinner served. It was little food per plate, with the little quality you'd expect from such a cheap place.
At least, with good company even the worst parties can turn great. I had fun with my friends and on the crowded dance floor as well.
Try to avoid this banquet hall if you get the chance, a friend of mine said that planning a party there with the owner (who had a bad attitude) was a hassle. Only go here as a last option!
HORRIBLE SERVICE AT SYNAI GARDENS‎.
I had a party at Synai Gardens Banquet Hall and the experience was terrible. I had reserved almost 8 months in advance for a bridal shower that I was having. I was very specific in the things that I wanted. I ordered the cake to be one color and the banquet hall owner took it upon herself to make it another color totally than what I requested. Then I had ordered small potatoes with my meal and we got fried plantains and I was told they had run out of potatoes. Mistake me if I am wrong but I have not heard that Florida has a potatoe shortage. They served very little food because they were trying to save food for the party that was coming after mine. There were many hiccups in the service. The banquet hall owner has a very bad attitude and she is not accomodating. I also had to accomodate her in the form of payment because she does not accept credit cards or checks from certain banks. I have had many parties in the past and have never experienced something like this before. The party came off with out a hitch, thanks to family and friends. If I am paying for a service and I request things a certain way than I believe the customer should get what they ordered. Beware of this banquet hall it is not handled in a professional manner. I do not recommend it.
