For those who appreciate the heady nostalgia of pitchers of beer and shot glasses slammed down on wooden tables, this is a welcome blast from the past. There's also a terrific hangover prevention, which UM students swear by: cheeseburgers, hot and juicy, to absorb alcohol toxins. Also on the small menu are a variety of sandwiches, fries heavily coated in beer batter and a tart Key lime pie. Daily specials are usually a bargain.

Love it bec. it is an institution...I've never known it for its food and I've been here since 2000 but I'm not a big burger person. The best food items on the menu are the grouper sandwich and the pork chop special. I often get a hotdog since that goes w. beer and the sports which are all over the multiple tvs. And I annoy the waiters all the time by asking for the potato skins which are not on the menu. When they do have them they are awesome! Thin skins lightly fried sprinkled w. parmesan. I like all the pictures and mementos on the wall...I don't know of a place that has better wall decor...similar to Big Cheese in that way but better.

This used to be a good burger joint. Don't be fooled by old reviews, the management is killing this place. The food's terrible, the service is worse and the manager tops it off with an unhelpful attitude. Save your money! Go somewhere else.

This place is a landmark, when you walk in you feel like your walking into cheer's. The pictures on the wall of anyone who's anyone is great to see. I always get the fried clam's and the soup of the day. Its a good low cost meal.
