What People Are Saying About Bal Harbour Shops

In Short – A ritzy mall located on the northern end of Miami Beach, Bal Harbour used to cater strictly to the ladies-who-lunch crowd, but now encompasses a wider circle of wealthy Latin American shoppers, socialites, pro athletes and mini-celebs. The mix of restaurants and shops include pricey high end designers like Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Prada and Versace, along with upscale retailers like Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. Of course, it simply wouldn't be complete without jewelers Cartier and Tiffany's. – –

Whenever I visit Miami, this outdoor mall is one of my requisite stops. Lined with some of the most luxe shops in the world (Neimans, Saks, Gucci, Prada, Frette), this fabulous two-story shopping mecca is perfect for people-watching and, of course, splurging. I love Books & Books -- they always have a great selection of signed copies and they often have special events & readings. Another highlight is the Art of Shaving store, which offers old-fashioned warm shaves in the "barbershop." There's also a handful of more affordable chains like Banana Republic, so even budget-shoppers can treat themselves.
- Pros: Beautiful grounds, fabulous shops
- Cons: Your wallet won't thank you

There is NO better Mall in Miami than Bal Harbour PERIOD!...And now Harry Winston is opening-what more can you ask for? Saksn Neiman-no tacky Claire's, Rainbow, Rave, etc. Just Top Name stores that also have some Great sales. And the salestaff in most stores can't be beat. Forget about all those other cheap stores and run over to Bal Harbour-it's the BEST!!
- Pros: great selection, beautiful, great sales
