The Scene
Located on Key Biscayne, this resort presents the perfect opportunity to get away from it all. It welcomes guests with decor that is exuberantly cheerful. You can't help but smile surrounded by all the bright blues and yellows, not to mention the ocean views seen from the airy guest rooms. Isolated from the world, thanks to the island's bridge access, it is still within convenient driving distance to South Beach, Coconut Grove and downtown Miami.
The Details
All 300 rooms have private balconies, minibars and high-speed Internet access. The resort includes a lounge, two bars and four restaurants. The Purple Dolphin serves fresh seafood indoors or al fresco, and the Two Dragons features four styles of Chinese as well as Thai food. There are numerous land and water facilities to be enjoyed, including an Olympic-size swimming pool, bicycles, golf and catamarans. Segway transporters are available to rent.

What a marvelous hotel. The staff, the rooms, everything was better than we expected. From the moment we checked in it was obvious that they know how yo treat guests. Fortunately the weather allowed us to lay by the pool and sip delicious lemonade. This was a wonderful experience that I hope to repeat soon.
