Quality little joint. Went to Taco Rico with my mom after a recent basketball game at UM. We arrived shortly before closing, but the staff was polite and didn't rush us. The orders were pretty basic stuff - beef/bean burrito, rice and refried beans for me, taco for my mom. It was fairly tasty and cheap ($4.50 for burrito/rice/beans, 99 cents for taco). Also liked their sauces. Seems like a college joint, which is okay with me. It's a small place, and they have a fairly basic menu, but bang for the buck it's hard to argue with it.

Poor service, and cheaped burritos. I have been there a 3 times this month hoping to give it a thumbs up, but I can't. The staff is not nice and seem very very unhappy to be there -- they gripe about minor things and definitely do not make the customer feel welcome in the least. Also, in addition to their food being deplorable, I find it to be excessively cheap. Their burrito is all lettuce and no beef. The beef you do get is insanely greasy. The beans are refried, not black or pinto. Just a pity.

Great Little Place. This a great little place to stop into for lunch or even dinner. The food feels authentic, the service is always friendly and the value is excellent.
