somewhat disappointed. I had many hopes for this place. I always drove by it, thought how cute it looked from the outside, read the reviews here and thought, "I have to go!". SO with very high expectations, we get there, park, and the first greeting we get is "parking is $7". Im like WHY!? we parked ourselves and there's no one here, it was like 6 pm!? Whatever, I'm sure its worth it.

We get in, nice place, dark, and freezing. The waiter kindly fixes the problem, and begins the "MENU". He went on for about 5 minutes nonstop, mentioning the 20 "specials" that are not in the menu. I couldnt keep up. So I ordered something from the regular menu (rigatoni w/ chicken, mushrooms, and pink sauce) It was delicious, food was served quickly.

But the place being so tiny, everytime a new party sat around us, we had to hear the waiter review the "MENU" all over again. it was very obnoxious.

My Favorite Restaurant. Ate here on Tuesday April 1st... The BEST meal I've ever had; not exaggerating one bit. Waiter recommended a great Merlot and the apricot filled ravioli was finger-licking....actually, it was plate-licking good! Oh, yes and the main dish, yellow tail over a bed of risotto....WOW! I'm not a great judge on desserts so I won?t. The owner, Ernie, sent over a round of dessert wines on the house. It was a perfect ending to the best meal I?ve eaten to date.

*** If you go on a busy night there might be about an hour wait, it's well worth the wait. There's complementary wine while you wait for a table!***

Innovative food that is fresh and WOW!. This place rocks. The service is so good, the owner ensures that you are happy with food, tables and service as he scours the room and converses with tables.

The food here is so great. Innovative Italian cuisine with a Latin flare. the fish is so fresh, and they are so accomodating to you. If there is something not on the menu, they will make it. If there is something you want to change, they will do it for you. I can't say enough about this place. I live out of state and make sure that I eat here each time I am in FL. This restaruant is a winner.........

Simply the Best. One word...Amazing. The wait can be long depending on the time. When you sit down you waiter is very attentive and knows the whole menu by memory and it changes daily. They want to make it YOUR meal, you are free to add or take out whatever you want and the staff will gladly make it for you. On top of that they never get your order wrong. The owner is always walking about and personally greets each table and sometimes goes into long conversations with the people at the table. There is little parking but Cafe Vialetto makes up for it by having valet. Cafe Vialetto is a perfect Trifecta, Amazing Food, Amazing Service, and Amazing Ambiance.

Heaven Sent!. I love this restaurant. There is nothing like a small hole in the wall with the best food, ambience, and service. They are a unique and gracious restaurant. You MUST visit!

You should go!. My wife and I had dinner here for the first time to celebrate our Anniversary. What a great experience! Our waiter and the rest of the staff were very professional, polite and catered to our every need, and then some. This place totally exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go back.

My favorite restaurant in Miami. Love this place. The service and food is exceptional. Up there with the best in Miami. The owners greet you and make you feel at home. So welcome compared to the haughty staff at other acclaimed restaurants, and I have been to most. Very wine friendly, I always bring an exceptional wine to accompany the fine food. The list of daily specials are always EXTENSIVE. This is the kind of restaurant where you can go every week and be sure of an exceptional experience each time. My highest recommendation.

One of the best kept secret. It may look like a small hidden place, but the food and the wine selection at Cafe Vialetto compares to all the major Italian places in Miami. Its atmosphere is perfect for an special dinner / lunch while in Coral Gables

Little, but nice!!!. I went for my wife's birthday on thursday 21st. The food was very good, the desserts ..... amazing. I think the manager (or maybe the owner) took care of us, because the waiter never went to our table. Maybe that is the only complain, we waited over 15 minutes for the service, but we understood. Overall ... a "9" !!! Very good restaurant .... we will be visiting again soon !!!

Literally finger licking good.. Try the Ozo Bucco!!! That, soft candle light, the place oozes of decadence.
