I was skeptical but I have to say this store is excellent. It has everything (other than iPhones) that an Apple store has, it feels like an Apple store with one exception: The place is not loud and teeming with people, they are personal and take time to understand your real needs, they fix hardware (under warranty or not) at fair prices, they recover data and migrate it to new machines meticulously (which Aplle stores will not do) , and they know your name and take time to sit with you and make it " all good".

This is a welcome and refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of the Apple stores. They take time to work through your entire need with you, give you straight advice on the balance between buying a new machine or fixing your old one, and they treat you with personal attention and no need to enter the mall.

Forget the competition. Forget those Mac stores with their idiotic rules and annoying crowds and din of noise; you would be foolish not to go here first. Same Mac products but - immeasurably better, faster and easier service. It is almost a pleasure to visit the store, but for the limited parking in the front...although to be fair, it is located right on Dixie Highway across from UM, and could not be easier to find. You will end up using them exclusively for your Mac needs, I am certain.

Customer service is as soon as you walk in. I've use computer village since I started with personal computers. They were the only game in town before the Apple store. Apple store is fine if you want a HUGE selection and want to stand around while kids play on the computers. I bought a apple monitor from them when they first opened up, had a connection problem, took it to the back door (as requested from sales). They would'nt accept it and told me I had to carry both it and my CPU (G4) around to the front. I told them if I did that to make sure the manager was there with a refund.....would'nt budge so they lost a $800 sale. No skin off their noses...........haven't been back since. The faces change at Computer Village, but the service and courtesy is still there. One thing about Apple....the prices are the same no matter where you shop. Your call.......

Great customer service. I took my MacBook Pro to the Apple Store at the Falls Mall because I had a hard drive failure, they could not fix it there and recommended Computer Village, I took the computer to Computer Village and they were able to install a new one and recover the files from the old one, all in two days, they have all of the same Apple Computers and accessories, great sales and service department, without the long lines and the need for appointments. I highly recommended them
