Pizza is very, very bad.. Having just moved from New York, I am in seach of any good pizza in Miami. This is definitely not it. the pizza is bland, uses cheap ingredients and has virtually no flavor. The search for good pizza will continue, but i will not make another at Casola's.

Like NY pizza... NOT!. This is not NY pizza. I was blown away by how may reviews recommended this place. Yes, it's inexpensive and convenient, but what about the quality of the food? Thick, doughy crust and meatballs that taste like hamburgers. Just not good Italian food. Try Villa Italia on Coral Way next time.

Poorly Seasoned. Low Quality Ingredients. As I took the first chewy bite of what looked like a beautiful piece of NY-Style pizza, I found myself reaching for the salt.

What could have been a stellar crust (good texture!) is defeated by a lack of any kind of proper seasoning. Conversely, the thin layer of cheese is suprisingly salty, and disappoints in quality not the creamy mozzarella topping I'd hoped for.

Is there a tomato sauce shortage? It's applied sparingly. But it, too, lacks proper seasoning, so I hesitate to wish for more.

Sure, it's a gargantuan slice. And if I had liked my high school cafeteria's pizza, I'd have liked this.

Note: Not a clean place. Frightening bathroom. Probably less from proprietor's failing than the late-night stream of inebriated customers.

Instead try Piccola Italia Pizza at 17th Av. and Coral Way or La Dolce Vita at 37th Av. and Douglas Park.

Casola's: Basic and Quick and Average. This eatery is located conveniently at a major intersection and lends itself particularly for those who want a quick bite. The ambience is mixed but mostly caters to male sports enthusiasts with tag-along girl-buddies in an outside/ indoor seating arrangement. I gave this place an average rating for almost every category. Granted you will receive large portions in most food items on the menu, at the end ingredients are sacrificed as being of a lower standard. This is another one of those "you can't have your large pizza pie and eat it" scenarios. If you are serious about taste and could sacrifice yourself to smaller portions try instead La Dolce Vita Pizza on SW 37 Ave next to Douglas Park and taste the difference. Personally, I was not surprised to see that this place came-out as No. 1, because Miamians are mostly mindless drones raised on fast food. Poor souls!

Overrated. This place is an absolute mess. They real hype is that it is open until late hours of the night and people can eat there at all times. That's it!!! The food is expensive and the quality is average at best. This is truly a place that is more hype than substance. Horrible!!

The BEST Place for pizza in Miami. I don't know how people can say that the food is TASTELESS in Casola's. IS THE BEST FOOD EVER... Me and my coworkers go there (religious every friday) and we are very happy with the flavor, size, smell. And my family goes with me on weekends... Greasy??? OF COURSE is a Pizza!!!! but let me tell you, what a great place to eat. My friends from NY told me that this Pizza is one of the Best. Better than the NY Pizza. So, don't hesitate and go to Casola's.

Where is the flavor?. My co-worker and I decided to go to Casola's Pizza for lunch due to the number 1 rating it received. Yea, it was a lot of pizza for a low price, but we both agreed that the main ingredient was missing: taste.

If I ever go back I will try something else rather than pizza.
