Dirty Dusty Mall. I did not like this mall at all. The Marshalls was junky and the mall itself is pretty dim and dirty. I was shocked when I walked in and saw signs stating do not leave any valuables in your car. Does that mean cars are broken into all of the time?? I actually felt like I was in a foreign country because no one was speaking English. My main purpose was to go to Nordstroms Last Chance. If you have the patience to search you can really find some good deals there. I purchased items originally priced at $18 for $1.50. Overall I don't know if I would go back, it isnt close to my Florida home and I wasn't impressed.

if you can deal with the crowd, the mall does have great deals.. i DO NOT recommend this mall to tourists at all. it is gross & the crowd is questionable. in addition, no one speaks english. however everything is cheaper than at other malls...

Right off the Palmetto expressway (SR 826) and a stone's throw from Miami's medium- and lower-income neighborhoods, this mall draws swarms of tourists and families.. In Short
Though the AMC here boasts fourteen theaters, you can guarantee they will all be packed with boisterous families and irreverent prepubescents. You do not want to watch a movie in this theater unless you belong to one of these two groups. This enclosed mall is a bargain-hunter's dream. With discount stores like Marshall's, T.J. Maxx, Perfumania and the Dollar Store, Mall of the Americas attracts South and Central American tourists with lists of "encargas" (purchases for friends and relatives back home), as well as families on a budget. Those who party on South Beach but live on the mainland can pick up trendy-yet-disposable outfits for under $50 at the stores like Forever 21, Rave and Miami Blue. There are also high-quality, low-cost casual wear favorites like Old Navy and Contempo Casuals.
