DR Fili is a good Dr. I have been with Dr Fili for about 10 years and found nothing wrong with the way he represents himself he has always been very compassionate with me. he has took his time with me and answered all of my questions. And for his staff i have never had any complaints at all with them as well so for all of you guys trying to trash Dr fili and his staff well shame on you

Surely you deserve someone better. Dr. Fili may be a fine Endocrinologist, although with these reviews it is unlikely. His staff is uncaring, abrupt, and unhelpful. I prefer not to go to a doctor's office where I am made to feel as if treating me is not really a priority. After several botched attempts at appointments I decided that there must be other Endocrinology practices. Dealing with health issues is unpleasant as it is, I don't have to add additional unpleasantness from a doctor's office.

Horrible.....and RUDE!!!!!. I guess his family members must sign in and post these good reviews. I think he is a very rude doctor who is uncaring. One visit with him was all it took!!!

Caring and compassionate team. After reading the negative reviews, I just have to comment on Dr. Fili. I have been his patient for over 15 years and Never Ever has he been anything what the negative comments suggest. He's knowledgeable, caring, up-to-date on care options, thorough; his office staff are helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and truly nice people. I don't know who those negative people are, but they're wrong, wrong, wrong.

Wonderful doctor. I, too am shocked by the reviews of Dr. Fili. I moved to the Keys from Arkansas and was seeing a general practice doctor here in the Keys. My A1C went from 6.8 to 8.1, so I decided to go to Miami for a specialists. The first appointment, I met with Dr. Anchia, who spent over one hour with me. I am not your typical diabetic as I neither fit into Type 1 or Type 2. Steps were taken immediately to get my sugar under control. My next appointment was with Dr. Fili. He did not "rush through" the appointmnet as many doctors do. He was cordial, polite and seemed genuinely interested in me and my condition. Please note, not in a "womanizer" type interest. I have had correspondence both on the phone and through e-mail. As I live two and half hours from the office, they are most accommodating in scheduling appointments. My A1C is now 6.4 and my sugar firmly under control. I am grateful to have found this office and would recommend him and Dr. Anchia to anyone who wants to get better.

Better than most actually. It was shocking to see DR Fili's reviews so I had to write my own. Let me first say that I am a professor and from the behavior of my students I know that typically only upset 'customers' resort to public sites. The happy ones have no issues and they do not bother. So yes the previous reviewers must have had a reason to be upset and come and voice their opinion.. most likely though they are only a handful amidst a see of satisfied patients.

Let me know tell you my own impressions about Dr. Fili. Yes he is not perfect. Yes he is smug. Does that make him a bad doctor? Perhaps not. He managed to 'fix' me and many others and at the end of the day that is what matters. He mostly does it by the numbers (i.e. lab results). He is not the type to spend lots of time chit chatting with you and like many doctors out there cannot help but act bored as if he's heard it before'. But again, he is effective and even being one of the most famous endo in the area his fee is relatively pittance (about a 1/3 of what my mom's nice but not terribly bright endo charges for e.g.)!! Moreover, unlike other endos I know you can get a fax with your lab tests order and then get your results read, meds adjusted all that without seeing the doctor, going to his office or paying a penny! So for the price of one visit you can get care almost indefinitely! He does not force you to meet with him like many other doctors for your results to be read. You can get an appointment anytime if you are a regular patient. For new patients it will probably take forever before you can see him.. because he for sure is not lacking in patients.

For future reviewers please be specific about what your problem with him is to be more informative. Saying he is a je k or that you heard that he is sexist is not terribly useful. No hearsay please. Give us an actual example of a behavior/an incident that you had so that we know what happened and can form our own judgment. Thank you.

What a JER_, I am not alone, This guy bedside manners are very very POOR. AVIOD. Lazy, Poor Care, Not sure of what his is doing, Forgetful, never followup of what he promise, I heard womennizer, racccist. and the list goes on, I really don't want to spend another minute thinking about this animal. BEWARE OF THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR....

Best Endocrinologist!. Dr. Fili is the best! Several of my friends are his patients and we all share nothing but great things about him and his staff. He is always looking out for his patients and better ways to treat us. I was referred to a few other Endocrinologists before being sent to him and I was extremely happy with Dr. Fili. He had more knowledge than the others I saw!

Avoid, the knowledge of an intern, this guy should not be allow to practice medicine..... lazy will not round on his patient and will call the nurse and curs them out, passing the ball as an irresposble INTERN, I cant believe he went to medical school the teachers should have been asleep when they passed this piece of s_it. Please quit medicine and go to a tittty bar and get it on you really need it, I guess you wife is not taking care of you at home..
