Lyons Salon & Spa

Big Disappointment. I went to Lyons Spa and Salon for a haircolor. Rocky, the owner of the salon, apparently wanted to make the decision on the color, even though I told him he color of my choice. He delegated the color job to someone else and walked away. The lady who colored it only colored 3/4 of it and told me to sit under the dryer for 20 minutes. After that, she led me to the shampoo sink where she colored the only 1/4 of the bottom hair for 5 - 7 minutes, then washed it all out. I then was led to a stylist who started to dry it and curl it with the iron. Soonafter, we noticed the color was dramatically and noticeably darker on the 3/4 top section. I told Rocky and he told me that is the new "Ombre" style and showed me a magazine with a model with two-toned hair color. I was still dissatisfied and was offered to come back and have it recolored at the bottom 1/4. I feel it should have been done evenly the first time without me having to come back. I was told "it was my hair" why it didn't come out right the first time, but obviously, it was not, as this has never happened before at any other salon.…

bad experience. I was referred to Lyons Hair Salon by a friend. I wanted highliteswith low lights and blow dry. I called abd spoke to the receptionist. She told me it would be 125 dollars. The web site shows a much lower price.

To make a long story short, I paid 60 dollars than was quoted abd ended up with blue streaks in my hair. They had the nerve to tell me I look like a rock star.

I'm a business woman and deal with many important clients in downtown Miami.Now I must go to another salon to fix their mistake.…

worst experience of my life! Stay away!. went here on a recommendation. my stylist aka "the owner" was rude and unprofessional. i needed my roots touched up single color process and ended up with a differnt color on my roots than the rest of my hair. my hair is very dark brown and my roots look copperish. stylist claimed it only looked that way under his salon light. BS! it looks horrible in ANY light! i also had an appointment for a blow dry with him and he told me he didn't know how to blow dry long curly hair. what kind of expert is that?? so i ended up leaving with frizzy curly 80's hair with mismatched color. btw, my hair blows out beautifully!! so i don't know what his problem was. go somewhere else, stay away from this salon. invest your money in a high end salon instead of this one. trust me!!…

Rocky won me over!!! Cheers to Lyons Salon & Spa. I was extremely nervous about changing hairstylists, a new resident of South Miami, moving from New Jersey/NYC. But I definitely made the right selection in Lyons Salon & Spa. The employees were very friendly, conversational, with smiles on their faces, very pleasant atmosphere. Rocky was FUN! He did an awesome highlight and cut on my hair, chatted it up about where to go in the city, fun things to do. FABULOUS experience. HIGHLY recommend!! =)…
