Never again!. My husband and I went there for the first time to have lunch. I ordered a salad and he some sort of pasta. The salad was more like wilted mayo soup. Just awful!!! The pasta was no better than a grocery store heat and eat. Extremely disappointing. Neither of us could eat so we paid the tab and went elsewhere.

Horrible service and below average food. The service was slow, and extremely rude. NOt only were they unpleasant that actually yelled at me for their mistake. I found hair in my food and it was cold. I was completely unsatisfied.

Great pizza, great service!. I've been there twice, and was impressed both times with the friendly and attentive servers, delicious food, and prompt seating. The restaurant is always busy, and full of families, so the kid-traffic takes away from any romantic ambiance, but an otherwise stress-free experience makes up for it!

This hangout near the University of Miami is a favorite of students and local families, who appreciate the casual atmosphere and Italian-American cuisine. Decor is limited to sports memorabilia, including pictures of the Miami Heat dancers and signed football helmets. The menu features a wide array of pizza, pastas, subs and salads, plus crowd-pleasers like fried calamari and buffalo wings. Pizzas are loaded with fresh ingredients, including Wisconsin cheese and Cali-grown tomatoes.

Great Cheap Food. Great place to catch plenty of good cheap food! Only complaint is lack of enough parking.

Inexpensive Italian eats; a great hangout.. The food is excellent compared to other non-chain establishments in the city. While it's tough to have a conversation when everyone around you is screaming theirs, this isn't the place you go to for a quiet first date, business meeting, or taking out the in-laws anyway. Parking is catch-as-catch-can, but they will deliver and take orders for pick-up if you'd rather dine at home. This is a great place for "the guys" to hang out after catching a movie, the "girl's night out" Italian food binge, or the whole loud mouthed family after a Marlin's game. Their meatballs are juicy, pizza slices huge and well stacked, and the clam sauce heavenly.

And to top it off: Wall's Ice Cream is right across the street, offering home made creamy treats that will have you waddling back to the car with unhealthy blood sugar levels. But who said good food was healthy?

awesome.... Been going to Big Cheese since they were across the street and only had about 10-12 tables...Moved from Miami in 1998...but don't ever miss the chance , when in town to stop by... My first date with my husband of 14 years was at the Big Cheese. Wish you would franchise...

Only miss the romanticism of the original place...

Garlic Rolls, Pizza & Pasta...Oh My!!!. I've been going to "BIG CHEESE" for many years. Love this place. Tons of Great Miami Sports memorabilia on the walls. Famous for their Garlic Rolls (yummy), Pizza, Pasta & Wings. If your starving and expect to be fed pronto, then avoid during peak hours......customers will wait for many minutes just to get in and get seated. Food is plentiful....great price & worth waiting for. Enjoy!!!

THE BEST FAMILY PIZZA PLACE IN MIAMI. This is the best family pizza place. The pizza is delicious and the service is wonderful. The waiters look happy and attentive.
