A gem in the midst of many imposters. I came across this Pan Asian Cafe when it opened about 10 years ago and I am still amazed at the food quality and attentive service. It's as good as it was on day 1. It is hard pressed to find any long lasting, quality restaurant in Miami that stands the test of time. However, Lan Pan Asian has beaten all the odds. Their homey dishes of spicy spinach down to the specials of the day never disappoint. The fish is fresh, the specials are unique and the service is impeccable. The owners take a personal interest in maintaining the utmost standards and it shows. I highly recommend this restaurant. It NEVER disappoints!…

Lan's Yellow Curry Vermicelli was almost [sickeningly] sweet. The coconut milk was too thick and creamy, making the entire dish looked and tasted greasy. The sushi and potstickers were acceptable.
The hostess could be curt and unfriendly, but the server was nice enough. They could be less courteous during busy time, but at least they still managed to provide average service.
The place was pleasant and inviting for an afternoon lunch, but I wouldn't recommend it for group dining.…
Be it ever so humble, there's no better place for inventive, affordable omni-Asian fare..

Delicious. There was a great selection of food. It's a bit more affordable if you go to restaurant.com and buy a gift certificate because you'll easily spend at least $35 when ordering for two. I highly recommend the calamari and the passion fruit creme brulee. Even though our waitress was the only un-friendly part of the staff, we still had a great experience.…
The Best Asian Food Around. This is my new favorite restaurant! The Beef Tarake was the best asian-inspired dish I've ever had.
