NOT A GOOD CHOICE FOR A CAB SERVICE IN MIAMI. This company is a joke. A call the night before for a 4:30 a.m. ride to the airport resulted in a no-show. At 4:35 a.m. we were told that we would receive a call back with a status - no call received. At 4:50 a.m. when we called them again we were told they didn't have a driver and to call another company - keep in mind that it was 4:50 a.m. and we had a 7:00 a.m. flight. We made the flight with 5 minutes to spare. I will be filing a complaint with Miami-Dade Consumer Services (305-375-3677). All the negative reviewers should do the same. It will take fines and license suspensions to get this company to straighten out or get off the road.

Would NEVER Use Again!. We used this cab services from the Miami Pier to MIA. As soon as we took our first turn, we knew there was something wrong. The tires were screeching because the driver was going so fast and wouldn’t slow down. At first we thought it was a simple mistake but then it happened with every turn as he was speeding throughout the city! He also ran two red lights while we were in the car and almost hit the barrier going onto the highway. He swerved the cab so fast away from it that we all crashed against each other in the backseat. To make it even worse, when we got off the exit for the airport, a car was merging into our lane a good 500+ feet in front of us, however, he held down his horn the entire time for the car to move because he refused to slow down as he should have. He came within a hair of hitting the car’s back bumper before swerving away from it. He then continued to honk is horn at any car going the speed limit (or even 5-10 MPH over) that was in front of him from that point on.

He also made us pay the two dollar total to leave the Miami Pier, which no cab has ever made us do before. Then, when we got to the airport, he almost hit a car that was already parked at our terminal. We got out of the car and he told us the ride was $24. We asked for change as we only had $30 on us and he said he didn’t have any. What cab driver doesn’t have change? I had no intention of tipping him whatsoever for the horrible way he drove and we wound up being forced to give him a six dollar tip for almost getting into numerous accidents due to “no change”!

The ride was so bad, I wrote down his information while I was in the cab so that everyone knows to never get in a cab with him again - Name: Vaillant, Geffard, ID Number: 26933

I can’t believe people like this are allowed to drive cabs in Miami! Beware!

Terrible experience, terrible service. The cab driver picked me up at the airport and could barely speak English, he could not get his machine to work and so told me there would be a $2 surcharge; made me call the hotel to find out the cross streets (large Hotel downtown), made me pay the freeway toll and when we got to the hotel tried to jack the price up $4, not $2; he then told me to include a tip, had to make me wait so he could get change for the difference and, finally, did not have a receipt. On top of all of that it was baking hot and he would not put on the AC. He would not give me his cab number to complain. (it was cab 1252--TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE NEVER USE THIS CAB SERVICE.)

Yellow Cab - the only good thing about them, is the easy to remember phone no.. This company is a prime example of the complete lack of customer service and consideration prevalent in these types of businesses. If you have a grevieance you will be hung up on and laughed at.

The only reason the likes of them survive is due to their phone number, which is easy to remember. If possible, steer clear.
