I don't know if this is where you write the reviews, but I would like to recommend these guys. They treated me very honestly with the job. Great price too! Thanks!
Good impression from this Transmission shop. I wasn't happy that my transmission broke on my 05 Chevy Impala. After getting several estimates, I decided to go with Tony Transmission. I was pleasantly surprised at the service and the attention that they gave me. ...and, most of all, the price was lower than what was quoted me over the phone. My car has been running like a champ ever since. Very friendly, courteous and professional atmosphere. Highly recommended!
find a better transmission shop. Whenever chosing a Transmission shop; ask for references. I didn't and i wish I had. My experience with this shop in particular is not good. My transmission went in December and this shop indicated it would charge me $895 to rebuild my transmission. after a week at this shop i was called and told it would be an extra $200 for some additional parts (which is illegal). being that my car is a daily driving i was anxious to get it back and start driving. The transmission was still banging while shifting into first and second gear slightly but was working. i was given 6 months or 6,000 mile warranty, which should've been my first sign of the quality of the work at this shop. after about 3 months and 5,000 miles the transmission was shifting worse and worse, i took it back and the gentleman suggested the reason it was doing that was because it had too much fluid. sure enough a couple of months later the transmission took a cr*p. after 5 months of the repair and after passing the 6,000 miles i took it back and the shop and the gentleman said he would work with me. after two weeks of calling the guy on a daily basis (one day he was waiting for parts, the next day he had two guys working on it, the next day he was putting the transmission up) the gentleman said i would have to pay an additional $300 dollars for parts. so obviously i had to dish out another $300 bucks. after 3 weeks of having the car back it still banging while trying to shift into first and second gears. there maybe a shop that actually knows how to build transmissions but this is not one. unless you want to put it in a transmission that will last long enough for you to sell your car.
