Editorial Review for Glass at The Forge – by Rick Munarriz
In Short
The former Jimmy'z reopened as Glass on New Year's Eve 2005--and like Jimmy'z, Glass is also a midweek hotspot. The décor in the three smallish rooms is opulent, with the chic elite gathering in plush, draped sectionals along the walls. Meanwhile, aspiring models and other members of the upper-crust clientele pack the dance floor in the largest room. DJs spin hip-hop and house, as a shimmering disco ball and colored lighting rotate overhead.

Insider Tips
When to GoWednesday nights are huge, but Friday nights are also popular as DJs spin the latest Latin music tracks.
Save TimeIf you want to avoid being on the wrong side of the velvet rope, having a late meal at The Forge is a good way skip to the front of the line--or just arrive before 11pm.

After not going to a club for a while, I was invited to The Forge for dinner and then we went on to Glass. I had heard so much about it that maybe I was expecting too much. One thing, it is the palce to be seen. This is the palce to see many of Hollywood famous people. When you least expect it, one of them walks in. They are treated like Royaly. Aside from that you will Who's Who in Miami. It is an international scene. I would recommend people to go for the experience.
Pros: It's OK
Cons: Overrated
