Come enjoy the "best steak in America"

  • Award-winning food and service

The Forge restaurant is home of the #1 steak in America and one of the world's finest wine cellars. In addition to our five dramatically elegant dining rooms, the Wine Cellar and the Forge Bar, we invite you to visit our adjoining nightclub, Jimmy'z at The Forge and The East Room at The Forge, the greatest private event space in Miami.

Boasting unparalleled food, service and ambience--on top of receiving countless awards and accolades--The Forge has most recently been awarded the prestigious 2004 Five Star Diamond Award issued by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences.

Editorial Review for The Forge – by Bill Citara

In Short
The sweet smell of money mingles with the heady aroma of dry-aged steaks cooked on an oak-fired grill. For 30 years, the Forge has been culinary ground zero for Miami's well-off and well-fed. Inside, the ornate decor features antique brick walls, pressed-tin ceiling, giant tapestries and stained-glass windows. Steaks, chops and grilled fish, prepared with little regard for current culinary trends, dominate the long and pricey menu.

Insider Tips

Where To Sit

The romantically inclined should ask for a table under the low pressed-tin ceiling on the right side of the dining room, where it's possible to sit side by side on comfy sofas.

Since moving to Miami I had always heard about the Forge. I finally went last month and was not blown away. The restaurant itself is visually appealing. The menus were large (so large they assist you in opening them as they have been known to break glasses on the tables!) The steaks were nice. What you would expect…but it felt like it was past its prime. The service was sub-par. A nice experience but don’t expect too much. Do ask for a tour of the wine cellar!
