bad food and bad service. We went their with our baby that is 6 months old, ordered some food. One of the waitress was good to us, bringing us hot water to warm a bottle of milk for our baby. Then that guy (regular caucasian guy with glasses and kippa) went from nowhere, was apparently working here, and told us not to use baby milk nor baby bottle with milk at their table in the rudest possible manner. The food, chicken shish kebob gave me heartburn 15 minutes after eating it. This restaurant is to avoid at all cost if you want a good place to eat.

worst service ever.. if i could give this place 0 stars, i would.

it started probably when we walked in. we were looking for some food to take back to the hotel. we walked in, and went over to the counter to order. we were told that most of our intial order was no longer available on the menu (apparently it was too late in the day) - that's fine. what's not fine is the lack of customer service and overall friendliness that one would expect from a retail establishment. we were basically looked down upon and shown no service by the waitress (a loose expression used to describe her position behind the register). She kept giving us bad looks and a "why are you here?" attitude that made us look at each other wondering if we did something to offend her.

food - not good at all. atrocious even. this part of the review may have been biased by the crappy service received when ordering and when receiving the food. lettuce on my meal was soaked so much that the bread underneath was soaked through. i picked up the bread and squeezed water out of it. it was sooo bad that even the ketchup was bad - and it was packaged. how do you screw up packaged ketchup?

a little on the expensive side. i agree with Eve C.'s review about pricing. That's like having expensive Mexican food, it just doesn't make sense.

i hope this is not what others have received and if it isn't, i question why we received it.

very disappointed and won't recommend it to anyone. ever. ever.

bottom line, go there if your only choice is kosher and it's the last place on earth - and even then, find someplace else.

A very pleasant surprise. Strolled in off the street, and was surprised by how large the restaurant was inside... service was very friendly and very patient with our relative lack of familiarity with the food. Food was outstanding and very fresh. Try the baba ghanoush... enough garlic to make you cry! Prices at lunch are dirt cheap.
