My Husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Avalon. The location is excellent, the room was great: clean, nice decor, and an awesome view. The desk staff were always efficient, friendly and helpful. We live on the west coast of Florida and plan to visit the area again and will be glad to stay at the Avalon again.

I stayed at the Avalon Hotel this past week and it was MARVELOUS. Upon arrival our room was ready and without hesitation, we were checked in and on the beach!
The staff was well informed and very pleasant.

Look Good:
Sandy Miami Beach is just across the street, but if you're craving a swimming pool you're out of luck at the hotel itself. The upside is that guests have free access to the South Seas Hotel swimming pool, a short walk away.
The Extras:
Complimentary breakfast for overnight guests is served daily.
Know Before You Go:
Valet parking on the beach is never cheap. It will set you back $27 a night at Avalon. If you're planning a shorter stay, consider one of the many city-owned garages in the area that charge $1 an hour.
