Bad Service. In the world of sales, customer service is key, and these guys totally missed the boat. I went to visit last Friday and really liked a dining room set that was on sale for $1260. I would have purchased it then but I had to measure my dinning room first to make sure it would fit since all sales are final.

I spoke to Ines the sales person and said I would measure my dinning space and return Monday. When I visited Monday, they had upped the price saying the original sales tag on the set was incorrect. Ines spoke with whom I think is the manager and the lady said she was sorry and could only do $1,800.

That is not the sale price I was originally offered a day ago. Therefore, I left the set and they didn't bother negotiating, they were happy to see a paying customer who was deceived walk out. I will never shop here or refer anyone. Service for me is everything and this place left a bad taste in my mouth.

Unique Gifts & Furniture. Details is an amazing store and shopping experience. They have been in business for over 20 years, which is saying a lot here in Miami. I remember the first little shop they had on 12th & Washington. Everytime I go there I am inspired and energized with ideas. Every gift or item I have purchased them has always brought lots of compliments.The staff are fun, helpful and knowledgable. I don't have lots of time to post reviews of things but this is really a one of a kind store!

Place to behold with unique style. I have found that the staff were more than accomodating and the choices of furnishings far surpassed my expectations. Not only does the staff treat you with care, but they are fantastic when it comes to assistance with decorating. You must try the chocolates, they are unbelievable.

If you are new or returning to the Miami area, REMEMBER, we are now on the historical Biscayne Blvd. in Miami. Our address has changed, but we haven't. We are still the most extraordinary shop around!

Great place for high quality and unique furnishings~!!!. I have been a happy customer of Details for over 20 years (since it's very beginnng) and while I've moved to NYC where there are may stores to choose from, I always return to this fabulous store for the guaranteed quality, unique items and professional treatment from the staff and owners. One of my favorite pieces of furniture I bought from this store: a mid century modern Italian sofa with custom upholstery. It looks perfect in my Jetsonian decor and I always get tons of compliments! If you want beautiful furnishings or an exceptional gift, make sure you come to this one of a kind store!!!

Specializing in unusual vintage pieces and reproductions.. In Short
Owner Perry Tortorelli used to travel the country collecting pith helmets and other bric-a-brac for Ralph Lauren's stores, so it's no wonder Details specializes in unusual pieces, like a fuzzy blue womb chair from Knoll or a black-leather Eames executive chair. Find a futuristic modern living room decked out on one side of the store. Across the store, brass lanterns, a gong, heavy oriental rugs and a sumptuous Moroccan bed suggest the Far East romance of a Michael Ondaatje novel.
