Nice studio but don´t go to Lee!!!. To be honest, it´s not easy for me to write this – not only because of the language as I´m german but because I really liked the tattoo studio (“Tattoo by Lou”) and the guy “Lee” also somehow... but on the other hand I think I´m responsible to warn others:

I cannot recommend LEE RODRIGUEZ as a tatooer or tattoo artist!!!

During my last holiday in Miami Beach in 2011 I asked at “Tattoo by Lou” for a simple one dimensional and unicoloured freehand tribal as an extension to an already existing one on my left upper arm.

Lee wanted to do it although the price he demanded seemed a bit overcharged.

Well as I didn´t know the prices in Miami Beach, the studio had a good recommendation and he told me, that he worked for Miami Ink before, I thought it was worth it.

During the tattooing I just wondered, that it was more painful than the other Tattoos I got before and that it actually took ages...

The end product looked like a little kid had played around with a felt-tipped pen, as my friends use to say – well, some say a kid would at least paint out better!

To be serious: Aside from the “motif” he did with little preparation time freehanded, he didn´t manage to put in the ink constant or symetrical at all and the edges were without exception in no way precise.

Now I´m spending a lot money for laser sessions and a hopefully good cover up!

loving my tattoo!!!!. i just got my new tattoo from FERNANDO at Tattoos by lou on south beach! He did such a wonderful job!!! i totally cried when he was done! i cant wait to go back to him!!!!!!!! thank you fernando thank you so much!!! no one could have done a better job and my daddy loves it too!!!!!

great tattoos- a real class act. i went to the south beach location

as soon as a walked into the door they were ready and willing to go above and beyond to make my tattoo exactly what i wanted

gave me all the options they had for me, not just the easiest one for them to do

very clean and professional

people made me feel very comfortable the whole time

the pricing was more than reasonable (i mean i gave a 23% tip on a pretty intricate tattoo) i know your not supposed to shop around for price, but the price were good and the artist experience is great

am recommending it to everyone, and am ready to go back if i ever want to get another

all together, a real class act

good, friendly service. i love my tattoo. what a great atmosphere. i have never seen a cleaner tattoo studio. i am going back for more.
