The Corodzo was perfect for our stay to attend Art Basil. We enjoyed the central location to south beach shopping,fine restaurants and the beach.The staff are genuine,caring and very accommadating.We enjoyed discussing Gloria Estefan's cook book on display in the lobby,the staff were knowledgable by latin cooking and some of reciepes were to die for from the Estefan Family!!

The rooms are quiet all night,very clean and the overall interior design is more Northern Woodsie feeling.

A chic, Art Deco hotel with the Estefan sizzle.. The Scene
World-famous entertainer Gloria Estefan, and her husband, Emilio Estefan, Jr., are the owners of this 1939 Art Deco boutique hotel. Located a few steps from the ocean, its furnishings include wrought-iron decor and cherry wood floors. This landmark is renowned for its celebrity-watching opportunities. Keep an eye out while sipping a Cuba Libre in the lounge.

The Details
The hotel's 43 rooms include four suites. Along with views of the ocean, the deluxe suites feature whirlpool bathtubs, bidets, hardwood floors and breakfast areas. Decor includes subdued African prints, wrought-iron chairs and canopied beds. All of the rooms come complete with a mini-bar, CD player, VCR and data port. A 24-hour room service menu is available.

Deco Treasure-- sensuous, sumptuous!. I just love the Cardozo. No other way to put it. The place is intimate, sexy, subtly swank, and boasts some of the friendliest staff in Miami. If you're looking for a small, romantic hotel in South Beach, this is the one. It's clean, beautifully-restored, and comfortable. What more could you ask for?
