A quintessentially Art Deco hotel in the epicenter of the Art Deco district.. The Scene
A 1930's Art Deco landmark, this Mediterranean-style hotel was designed by Henry Hohauser and temporarily served as a training headquarters for World War II soldiers. It features a swimming pool, which most hotels from its era don't have. Situated in the heart of South Beach, it's walking distance to boutiques and nightlife along Collins and Washington Avenues, Lincoln Road Mall and the Spanish-flavored Española Way. For history buffs, the Art Deco Museum and Visitor's Center is just across the street at Lummus Park.

The Details
The 60 renovated guest rooms are attractively furnished with decor in contrasting colors and striking accents. All have refrigerators, safes, cable TV, telephones and data ports. Twelve feature ocean views. The Penthouse suites are also equipped with full kitchens. Ocean's Ten, a sidewalk cafe and restaurant in front of the hotel, offers discounts to guests as well as prime seating for the ongoing show that is Ocean Drive.
