In Short – Guests that sidestep the stuffy restaurants that line Lincoln Road have an antidote in Icebox. The bright and cheery coffeehouse has an open air kitchen. Daily baked desserts are also on display. It's not all about the sweets, as local beachgoers and early bird clubhoppers come by for international eats like tortilla soup, spring rolls, and pumpkin ravioli on a perpetually changing menu. The weekend offers an extended brunch menu until 4pm.

Food was above average but not great. Coffee was a complete rip-off. We asked for three coffees and then changed it to lattes. We were charged for 3 lattes & 3 espressos and they were weak in taste so not sure what we exactly were served. Decor is nice and clean, we ate outside so we were exposed to road traffic as IceBox is off Lincoln Road. Service was nice and timely, however they were only two other tables. Cost was overwhelmingly overpriced for a basic breakfast for three, $75 which prompted me to write this review. You can definitely find better right on Lincoln Road.

Love this place!
The food was great, and came out pretty fast even though it was packed.
The service was a little slow, because the servers were overwhelmed, but it was nice and attentive.
Great for breakfast or lunch, it's not the cheapest place, but it's worth it 100%.
Will return for sure, try it!

Ice Box: service is lacking!

Ice Box is a great rest in South Beach, friendly owner and very good food. The kind of place you want to go to regularly. However, the last two times I have been there I have had a bad experience with the wait staff. The first time I went in with a friend and the waiter knocked over the salt and sugar packet holder and just walked away, leaving the packets strewn over the table and then served attitude throughout our lunch. The second time was worse...I went in at 3pm to eat some of their great cake desserts and sat at the counter for at least 5 minutes before anyone paid me any attention - the place was empty and the waiters were all involved in some heated exchange amongst themselves. I got up and walked out. Unfortunately the place suffers from the Miami Beach problem - too much attitude by those whose job it is to wait tables in a pleasant efficient way.
