El Rancho Grande

Lincoln Road's best kept secret. Flavors of Mexico & BEST Margarita's!

  • Authentic Mexican Cuisine
  • BEST Margarita's in Town
  • Inside & Outside Dining

El Rancho Grande Restaurant, Lincoln Road's best kept secret, brings you the flavors of Mexico, Authentic Mexican food, a festive display of color, ceramic tile top tables, and a décor ranging from Chihuahua to the Yucatan. Business, family, casual, and outside dining all in one. A business owned and operated by the Ortiz family since conception (1992), has been a long time favorite of South Beach locals. The *Margaritas* are made with fresh lime juice. The tortilla chips and salsa are made fresh daily and served at every table. The seafood dishes are a specialty sure to satisfy the most discriminating taste buds. In 1998, "The Big Ranch" underwent a renovation and expansion that brought this hideaway to a restaurant with a full bar, catering, and free delivery, without missing a beat. The Ortiz' family invites you to sit back, relax and enjoy your dining experience.

Editorial Review for El Rancho Grande – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
The colorful, festive Mexican-theme decor here includes sponged yellow walls, clay pots, ceramic tile-topped tables and brightly painted wooden chairs at each table. Spicy salsa and tortilla chips are made fresh daily. Expertly prepared enchiladas, burritos and fajitas tempt the palate. The black-bean soup here rivals chicken soup as a panacea and the spicy chilies are guaranteed to clear sinuses. Meanwhile, margaritas made with fresh lime juice range in flavor from melon to mango.

After searching high and low I've found authentic Mexican food in Miami! This is not another crappy Tex Mex restaurant. Great salsa, fresh, hot chips, excellent refried beans, A+ mole sauce. I highly suggest the "Burrito Californiano" & the margaritas. We did have to ask for the bill, other than that the service was decent.
