In Short – The modest façade and dining room keep in step with the neighborhood. That doesn't matter to patrons, however, who pack the restaurant and make reservations essential. Patrons often flip through the regular menu, then abandon it in favor of the lengthy list of daily specials, which are at the heart of Osteria's cookery. Pastas are a house specialty. There's seafood linguine in a tomato-rich broth or veal ravioli with brown butter and fried sage.
Great food, wonderful Front of the House

My husband and I have eaten here four times and the experience has always been superb. The champagne chicken is to die for and my husband always orders the spinach and ricotta ravioli. The Chef is top notch and the front of the house, Gilbert, makes everyone feel comfortable and at home. The waiters are very professional and all top-notch. This restaurant is worth every dime!
Worth the Expense!

Dinner for 2 with one glass of wine plus tip was right at $200.00 but it was the best meal I have ever experienced in Miami. We sought it out on our girls trip last month and thankfully found it! My appetizer was a stacked lobster dish with avocadoes, my caesar salad had perfectly blended dressing and my entree was supreme. The service was excellent with a server checking on each course with perfect timing and never allowing your water to get even a little low. The freh baked bread basket for starters was also a tasty and nice touch!
- Pros: Cozy bistro atmosphere, fabulous service and cuisine
- Cons: Taxi drivers were unfamiliar
Perfect Food, Service

A great South Beach choice. We secured reservations at this cozy restaurant same day. The food was above par - wonder caesar salad, great lobster app. The pasta was homemade and delectably fresh. Try the pecan pie for desert - yum.

The Extras:
The mostly Italian wine list is pricey and full of wines likely unfamiliar to non-experts. You can't go wrong with the 1997 Beni di Batafiolo barbaresco, however, whose concentrated, black currant fruit stands up to hearty flavors.
