disgusting. You know the ketchup and mayo on each table? DONT USE THAT!! IS DISGUSTING!!! The waiters were cleaning the inside part of the bottles with a disgusting towel, witch they clean the tables and everything! And they did it in front of us! the ketchup and mayo seem new, but they are not! and besides that, the evening manager is so rude!

BAD. Horrible food. Nasty manager! Go to Next Cafe on Lincoln... It's SO GOOD! Beware, the portions are huge at Next Cafe. The food at News is so bad... My cobb came without avocado, and barely a few stips of cold pre-cooked chicken. The manager didn't do a thing about it. He was very nasty, in fact. It's overpriced, and not filling at all. We went to eat at Next Cafe right after, to fill up.

Average Food, Expensive Bill, Sore Tush!!. Very famous cafe..Gianni Versace dined here regularly.. HOW SURPRISING!! The king of fashion dined at what is simply a Diner serving Diner food at upscale restaurant prices. Service is friendly but not the most attentive. A beautiful setting with the ocean across the street is ruined by the most uncomfortable chairs ever to exist. My backside still aches!!

Good appetizers, people-watching. We stopped by News Cafe because it is famous for the people-watching on Ocean Drive. We specifically went during happy hour after researching it as "the best happy hour in SoBe" All liquor is 50% off, but happy hour only applies in the bar area not the entire restaurant, which was weird. The bar does have 3 tables on a balcony that overlook Ocean Drive, however, so we sat at one of those after ordering at the bar. The bartender was very nice and helpful. We ordered a Miller Lite, which came ice cold, and a Strawberry Mojito, which was too sweet for my liking. We also got the spinach and artichoke dip, which was fantastic. It was piping hot and fresh and a perfect chip to dip ratio. We recommend for the people-watching and happy hour, but we would not go to this place for a regular meal. The menu was expansive and not reasonably priced even for the area.

good place to people watch. the people watching here is excellent because it is right on ocean. the service is also fairly quick and they are friendly. the breakfast dishes were ok, although nothing spectacular.
