User review by grant_darius. Faded, past its prime and the decor looking a little shabby. Filled with out of town tourists who probably dont have something like this back home, but if your tastes in dining out are demanding and sophisticated i would not recommend it. Great for large parties though as crowded and noisy. One of the most expensive meals we had in Miami.

no biggie. When this place first opened, everything was great. Food has changed (medium)service is still great. good martinis

Excellent Food.... Anything you order will not dissapoint you. It's a little expensive so the best thing to do is to share a plate with your partner or friend since the portion of food is large. What I liked was having a table at the Lounge area, it looks nice with the lights dimmed and a plasma TV mounted on the wall with a modeling show to watch and the manager to walk around the area making sure everyone is ok.

Like the good ole days.. Going to China Grill is an Experience. If you are looking for an outstanding meal.... there are better restaurants in the city.... But where else can you go on a wednesday nite and find a very attractive crowd, good music and FUN ( not delicious! ) Fun food??

Madonna's former gal pal Ingrid Casares host the Dinner Club and you will get a taste of the good ole days in SoBE.... Great place to bring out-of-towners for a late dinner, or a nice group of friends. It can be pricey... But who said life was easy?? I try to go once every two months... and i always leave it up to my friends to order whatever they want.... and don't forget to order the Cold House Sake with your meal.... it will go with anything on the menu.

Overpriced. Way over rated...not sure how they can get away from charging such ridiculous prices. But people still keep going and then wonder why it is so expensive?

Recommended!!. As far as I'm concerned, all that can be said about China Grill in SoBe is EXCELLENT. The food is always exceptional, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is great for an evening with 5 friends...or 1 special friend as well. I have never had a complaint and would recommend it to all!

China Grill is great for a group. Went to China Grill with eight friends and had a wonderful experience. The mojitos are the best I've had in SoBe, the wait staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. Since many dishes are quite large (your server will let you know which ones are good to share), we ordered about 10 appetizers and shared, which turned out to be a perfect amount of food and, with drinks, was right at $60 per person. Well worth it for the atmosphere and culinary experience. I'll go back.

Come Hungry. Had a great time and even better meal at China Grill. A little overpriced, but you only live once. This place is great fun. Try some of the fruit infused sake, really nice. Unless you are a big eater, two people can split one appetizer and one entree, maybe add some some fried rice and you will have plenty to eat! (A lot cheaper this way too!)If not full, they have some great desserts. Service was good, but needs to relax and let you enjoy the food, seemed to want to hurry us. But was never pushy.
