Editorial Review for Big Pink – by Bill Citara

In Short
The square, high-ceilinged room sports a sleek industrial-retro look, with pinkish Lucite-topped tables jammed together in long rows. Open until the wee hours, the scene doesn't get started until late but continues through early morning. There are the obvious standards like burgers and Caesar salads, but pizzas can be made with toppings like potatoes and goat cheese. Offerings also include funky "TV dinners," which are six small portions on a stainless steel tray.

Insider Tips

What to Drink

Only a few wines are offered, none particularly distinguished. Drink beer (there's a good selection of draft brews) or invest $20 in the simple but pleasant 2000 Hardy's chardonnay from Australia.

Save Time

If you're a party of six or more, make reservations. Otherwise, Big Pink doesn't take them.

The Extras

Free delivery hours are Sunday through Thursday 11am to midnight and Friday through Saturday 11am-1am.

The Big Pink is a great place to dine in South Beach. It's perfect for families, teens and the older crowd. The food was AMAZING. Literally. The price and portion were definitely right, too!

Pros: Great food, reasonable prices, big portions, fun atmopshere (decor, music, tv), friendly service, AMERICAN STAFF!.

Cons: Tables are pretty close.

Don't listen to the negative reviews!! The food was amazing and only made better by the excellent and attentive service. The prices are good for Miami Beach and you get enough food to take home and eat for days. There's a great atmosphere and even a gift shop to buy Big Pink tees! This restaurant is definitely worth the trip!! Pros: Food, service, quiet location Cons: None
