Vietnamese Salad, fresh fish, eclectic menu. I forget Nemo as it's not exactly on the beaten path (at least not mine). Their service is exceptional and the atmosphere is warm and inviting (a bit time worn the last time I was there which doesn't bode well for a chic contemporary place). I've never had a bad experience here, and while the prices are high, the quality is worth it.
Excellent fish dishes. Went with a large business group on a week night, the dishes were excellent as was the ambiance. We were seated and served promptly, the wine selection was fantastic and the appetizers and salads were fresh and exquisitely prepared. A majority of the fish dishes were a little on the spicy side, but all were excellent.
SoBe chic paired with global fare makes for sophisticated ambience and food..
With its hammered-metal bar and stylish dining rooms, this place is pure South Beach cool. The kitchen serves up complex world cuisine. Duck confit is paired with Indian-spiced cauliflower puree and carrot-raisin chutney; grilled anchovies come with a relish of pickled onion, preserved lemon and olives. Snapper is graced by arugula sauce and lobster hash browns. Chocolate and macadamia torte end the meal.
Don't go on the weekend, or in groups. Went Saturday and was appalled at how we were treated. We had a reservation for 9:00PM outside which we confirmed but which they didnt honor. We were a large group, but don't take a reservation if you can't honor it. I understand if things are running behind, but the rude hostess barely deigned to speak with us and the bartender refused to serve us while we were waiting he told me it was too busy and I needed to come back later (if he had enough time to tell me that, he had enough time to take my order) which is unpleasant and makes bad business sense! After an hour wait they offered us a cramped table inside next to the loud busing station, as if we were lucky to get a table at all. Good food but not worth such poor treatment. Get your act together Nemo!
nice meal. My wife and I had a nice meal. We sat outside, had plenty of room. Not much to look at, but pleasant. The service was great. Waiter very attentive. In South Beach, they tend to throw the food at you, trying to move you out of the restaurant ASAP. Not so here, we were able to recline and enjoy ourselves. Had mixed drinks which were good. I had the tuna and my wife had the salmon, both of which were good, but maybe not worth the price. Overall I'd go back but I think their might be better choices although we didn't find many.
Very Good. Really liked the restruant - It was a busy Wed. night - Packed. Service was ok- a bit slow, but the food was GREAT. Drinks were very good. Lot of people there to be seen. Dinner for two with an app. and one glass of wine each. came to $130.
worth every penny. what a great place this was. 6 of us ate dinner there on a Friday night, and all agree had one of the best dinners in SoBe. Get ANY fish dish and you can't go wrong. Leave room for desert!!
Divine Dining.... Words do not begin to express my love for this restaurant. From the minute you walk in, reality escapes you. Suddenly you are somewhere else, filled with life, energy, and scrumptious food! From spiced radishes, to freshly shucked cold water oysters, fabulous wines, delectable desserts. Nemo is a requirement for anyone with a passion for life.
