In Short – With its hammered-metal bar and stylish dining rooms, this place is pure South Beach cool. The kitchen serves up complex world cuisine. Duck confit is paired with Indian-spiced cauliflower puree and carrot-raisin chutney; grilled anchovies come with a relish of pickled onion, preserved lemon and olives. Snapper is graced by arugula sauce and lobster hash browns. Chocolate and macadamia torte end the meal.
Vietnamese Salad, fresh fish, eclectic menu
by dpennsobe
I forget Nemo as it's not exactly on the beaten path (at least not mine). Their service is exceptional and the atmosphere is warm and inviting (a bit time worn the last time I was there which doesn't bode well for a chic contemporary place). I've never had a bad experience here, and while the prices are high, the quality is worth it.
- Pros: Great food! Vietnamese Salad is delish. Fish is always fresh and good.
- Cons: Parking
Excellent fish dishes

Went with a large business group on a week night, the dishes were excellent as was the ambiance. We were seated and served promptly, the wine selection was fantastic and the appetizers and salads were fresh and exquisitely prepared. A majority of the fish dishes were a little on the spicy side, but all were excellent.
- Pros: Great variety of surf dishes and wine selection
- Cons: $$$$
Don't go on the weekend, or in groups
by mikeandrus
Went Saturday and was appalled at how we were treated. We had a reservation for 9:00PM outside which we confirmed but which they didnt honor. We were a large group, but don't take a reservation if you can't honor it. I understand if things are running behind, but the rude hostess barely deigned to speak with us and the bartender refused to serve us while we were waiting he told me it was too busy and I needed to come back later (if he had enough time to tell me that, he had enough time to take my order) which is unpleasant and makes bad business sense! After an hour wait they offered us a cramped table inside next to the loud busing station, as if we were lucky to get a table at all. Good food but not worth such poor treatment. Get your act together Nemo!

What To Drink:
The wine list is an oenophile's delight. There's a selection of bottles for less than $50 and even less than $30; there's also the 1998 Au Bon Climat pinot noir ($71), which melds Burgundy and California.
