In Short
This is a true local's place; original artwork adorns the walls, a bulletin board announces yoga classes, neighbors walking their dogs stop in for a bite and even sometimes buy Fido a kiddie cup. Everything is made on the premises, and customers are encouraged to test many flavors before deciding. Silky ice-creams come in flavors like macadamia caramel and double toffee. Sorbets are made from exotic tropical fruits like tamarind, papaya and guavanbana.

The frieze does in fact have fabulous tasting ice cream, however, the owners of the place are not honest. Lisa, the owner, does not make sure that her ice creams are totally kosher. Her dairy and parv products are often mixed, as are the scoopers. For those who really wish to keep Jewish tradition, the Frieze is not recommended.

They let you try whatever you want. The Ice cream is really good. They have kosher for passover sorbet that is incomparable. The ice cream is fresh and tastes home made. They have every flavor imaginable. Very creative.

The frieze is the best ice cream store i have ever been too. No other place i have gone to get ice cream or sorbet has the quality of the frieze, I recomemd all of my family friends and strangers go inside, say hi to William and ask for a sample of any of their ssorbet flavors, and i promiss they'll get hooked.
