A neon-lit trip back to the Eisenhower era comes with burgers, shakes and fries..
In Short
Vintage Coca-Cola ads and posters of Life magazine covers succinctly summon up the 1950s, as do this diner's mini-jukeboxes, red vinyl counter stools and sock-hopping staff. Besides fast food staples like hot dogs, cheeseburgers, tuna melts and onion rings, options like the Streamliner (a grilled veggie patty) acknowledge more modern dietary concerns. Even better for kids, sandwiches come wrapped in paper jackets and nearly everything is served on paper plates. No spills. No breaks. No tears.
Beautiful site for the Baby Boomer Generation. Love the outdoor seating, the waiters and waitress' entertainment, and relaxing while people watching. Nice reminder of the 50's and 60's.........a great time in history
Great service and super people watching place.. I found the food and service much better than I thought I'd find at a South Beach Ocean Drive sidewalk inexpensive cafe.
Pricey but nice. Nice place for a nice hamburger after partying on Ocean Drive.
Are you crazy!?. Johnny rockets is not very good at at. The burgers are tiny, the shakes there are terrible, and everything is over-priced. The old-fashioned theme is great, but the prices are ridiculous. The portions are tiny, and the cheese fries are all grease. This is a tourist trap. I am very suprised this place beat Rockys.
