Tips for Churchill's A Sort-English Pub

It's a pub. I came here with a friend recently. Haven't been in town long but when he told me this was the spot to see punk I figured I'd go with him to check it out. First, I'm glad I went with someone. Not the neighborhood I would want to be in alone. Other than that, this place is exactly what you would think of a pub and punk venue. It kinda reminds of a few dive bars I've been to in New York City. If you're into seeing live rock, you should check it out. I hear that every now and then Iggy Pop comes in when he's in town too!

A no-frills English pub with an unwavering commitment to live local music.. In Short
The key to Churchill's' success has always been its dedication to providing a venue for local bands. Boasting a large collection of beers, a couple of pool tables and an anything-goes atmosphere, don't expect South Beach-style glitz at this gritty urban location. The venue provides an open stage for just about any south Florida act willing to play for the door, a policy that makes the bar the city's primary wellspring for local talent.

Coolest Place In Town. You'll never get tired of this place. Every night is different. The music scene here is the best in Miami. Even though the location leaves a lot to be desired, the scene is ULTRA-HIP! Thursday's are my favorites, but you'll never go wrong here- live, slammin' music. Thanks, Dave, this place is Great!

rock n roll over. Early around 11pm walk up to the bar. Ask for a Tetleys. Drink and listen to numbingly great or shamefully horrible tunes. It just doesnt matter. Even the most horrible tunes are still better than anything else around. When the bartender screams last call the running total is only 35 dollars. Drinking Tetleys is usually unforgiving except at Churchills. The ride home smells like NYC. Except, the driver is not the culprit.

Best venue in South Florida. The best venue for live music in the history of South Florida. It's real... you don't have to pay for parking... you don't have to deal with the "sobe" idiots... and you don't get ripped off for your drinks. Bands that don't play here should not be playing. Every night is different... visit often...

For the Musically Brave!. Churchill's rocks! A more diverse venue for music. If you are definitley looking for live rock n roll, jazz, or even "mud" wrestling, just pick up the STREET (newspaper) and see what's going on at Churchill's. Traditional selection of beer -- Guiness and Bass on Draft and a decent selection of bottled beer. Good music scene in Miami and Churchill's is there to display.

Miami Indie Scene. Miami's indie music scene is not at all like Austin Texas. However, Churchill's Hideaway provides an excellent opportunity to see live, local bands. Has a well stocked bar. Laid back atmosphere. Thumbs up to this establishment!!!
