EXCELLENT NICARAGUAN SPOT IN LITTLE HAVANA!!!.
This is a place where you can enjoy authentic Nicaraguan cuisine. The food is excellent, the service is great, the price is perfect, and is a little cozy spot in Little Havana where you can go with your family and friends. Try "Churrasco", "Pescado a la Tipitapa" and "Jalapena Steak". We love this restaurant, we highly recommended.

can't miss gem.
This place is a hidden gem on Calle Ocho. We had the nacatamal, (corn tamales in banana leaves filled with rice and chicken)which were well seasoned and lovingly prepared, the buttery, tender and well seasoned churrasco, which is served in a generous portion the size of a dinner plate (do not be intimidated, the staff are understanding of requests to take home leftovers), and dessert. Do not miss the churrasco, but also sample from the rest of the menu, which includes some excellent choices including the abovementioned Nacatamal. If you haven't tried nicaraguan food, this is the place to do it, and if you have, be prepared to be spoiled for any other. the Cacao was wonderful, but so was the tres leches cake, which i wasn't expecting to like as much as i did. Guayacan also offers some good inexpensive wines, and the service is exceptional, responsive and prompt while managing to be unobtrusive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
