Fresh spring water and old coral rock make this the best pool in Miami..
Overview
If you've had more saltwater and chlorine than you can stand, make Venetian Pool your next stop. Every day, 820,000 gallons of refreshing spring water are fed into this pool formed from an old coral-rock quarry. Hailed as one of Miami's most historic sites, it features two waterfalls and coral caves--and it's on the National Register of Historic Places.
Facts
In the summer, the pool is drained and refilled nightly, maintaining a warm 77 degrees. Its nonchemical water provides an ideal place to practice every imaginable stroke. If belly-flopping is more your speed, that's OK; for a small fee, you can attend Red Cross swimming classes, though most people are content to lie back in the relaxing waters amid the coral backdrop and just soak up the sizzling Miami sun.

Ah, Venetian Pool.
I ¢¾ Venetian Pool! I have been coming to the pool since before i can remember, every time we visited my grandparents in Coral Gables. We even held their 50th wedding aniversary party there, and it was lovely. Don't miss this tropical paradise!
